Quickly Re-Calibrate Mezintel Depth Tracking System

Power outage incidents, while rare, do occur causing interruption of drilling rig sites operations and services. Mezintel Depth tracking systems have been subject to such scenarios resulting in lost connectivity and lost calibration.

However, once power returns, there is a way to quickly recover saved calibration table and Here’s how to do that:

STEP 1: Wait for power to re-turn

Once power returns, be sure that the PC can connect to the Depth Tracking System. Once connected verify that the calibration status says ‘Not Calibrated’. See Fig 1.

In a LabVIEW data entry form, pressing the <Tab Key> causes cursor navigation to next data entry box. However, pressing the <ENTER Key> on same data box only finishes data entry, and does not move the cursor to the next data entry input box.  Why is this so?
